WHO I AM

I am a general and interventional cardiologist based at Mediclinic Panorama in Cape Town, where my practice focuses on evidence-based, patient-centred care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease. I have a particular interest in echocardiography and advanced cardiac imaging, as well as minimally invasive coronary and structural heart interventions. After completing my training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology through Stellenbosch University and the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa, I gained extensive experience working in one of the country’s busiest private cardiac units, managing complex clinical presentations and performing a wide range of procedures.

My work is driven by a commitment to clarity, compassion, and partnership with my patients. I believe that understanding one’s condition is an essential part of effective treatment, and I take time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term cardiovascular strategies in a way that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health.

Outside of medicine, I’m a dedicated endurance cyclist and enjoy spending time in the mountains and on the trails with my family. These passions keep me grounded, fuel my appreciation for heart health, and shape my holistic approach to cardiovascular care.
