Dr Pieter Rossouw
Cardiologist

Pieter isa general and interventional cardiologist based at Mediclinic Panorama in Cape Town, where his practice focuses on evidence-based, patient-centred care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease. After completing his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology through Stellenbosch University and the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa, he gained extensive experience working in one of the country’s busiest private cardiac units, managing complex clinical presentations and performing a wide range of procedures.​

Carina Joubert

Clinical Technologist

Carina is a Clinical Technologist with 28 years experience in various aspects of cardiology.  She first qualified in 1993 with a National Diploma in Clinical Technology, sub-specialising in Cardiology.  She completed het Bachelor of Technology Degree in 1997.  She was employed by the Western Cape Department of Health at the Groote Schuur Hospital until 1996 when she joined a private practice at Panorama Medi-Clinic in Cape Town. 

Carina’s clinical responsibilities include resting ECG’s, stress ECG testing and echocardiography.  She also works in the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventional procedures, transoesophageal echocardiography, Pacemaker implants and programming.

Tania Rossouw

Practice Manager

Tania completed B.Sc in Physiotherapy at the University of Stellenbosch in 2000 and started her career in clinical physiotherapy.  She decided to to do her MBA also at the University of Stellenbosch and completed it Cum Laude in 2006.  She worked in data management for a pharmaceutical research company before joining the practice in 2016.

Tania oversees the business and managerial aspects of the practice from monthly Accounting to Human Resources.
